We'll be showing our new film Freedom of Flow along with a line up of other roller skating shorts š¼. And just added.. A live music set from The Charities.
We're excited to show a night of film and music under the stars with a holiday celebration of our local roller skating culture at a new community favorite, Beerwood in the heart of Baywood. This means there will be plenty of delicious food and drinks (including warm drinks) available for purchase at the event.
Donations will be going to The SLO Roll, a new community initiative that provides pop up roller skating with Local DJ, party lights, safe space, rink vibes, here on the Central Coast.

The Charities
The Charities are a soul, funk band from Hermosa Beach, California that bring tons of energy to their live shows as well as cherish the magic of capturing their sound in the studio.
Their music draws influence from many different genres. Funk and soul being an anchor, their music touches on that Motown sound, jazz, jamband music, disco, R&B and rock nā roll.
They enjoy playing live the most, where the energy between the audience and the band builds into an experience that cannot be expressed in the studio. Consistent live shows give the band the opportunity to improvise more often, blending their influences in an organic and unique way for the audience to experience.
